Diwata Komiks announces the New Icons project during Filipino-American History Month to showcase characters and stories from outstanding individuals in the community and encourage more diverse voices from our underrepresented communities.

First character revealed on 10/10/22.

Second character revealed on 10/28/22 presented by Co-Founder and Carmina series Co-Creator Erica Juliet.

The New Icons characters will debut as guest characters in both the Carmina series and in our upcoming title, The Hidden World of Anton Jimenez. They will also be a part of the Diwata Komiks Special Edition Collectible Cards series slated for a wider release at San Diego Comic-Con in July 2023.
